Elegant Frills

Hey Lovelies,

I wanted to share with you this nude lace dress, the colour is gorgeous. I bought it from H&M for the sale price of £10 and it was originally £29.99, I think that’s more than a bargain! They also have it in black and blue too. The main feature I love about this dress is the shape at the bottom; the way it frills and ruffles, it creates such a lovely shape and feminine look. This dress can definitely be dressed up for a more formal event as it’s so elegant; especially because of the colour, lace and shape. I say colour because the black version looked more gothic and gave a different vibe. This dress can be more casual too, rock it with some trainers/sneakers for a sportier look? I think so :-) some white high tops would look nice. I styled this with some nude sandals from Primark that has some jewel embellishment at the top, it’s so sparkly I love it... and it was the last pair in my size woop woop!

Summer Time Shades

Hi Guys,

I wanted to share with you the sun glasses that I have bought recently and that you will probably see in quite a few outfit posts to come! Circular glasses are the new thing for me right now, as you might have seen in my previous post Subtle Lace, I was wearing the third pair down and I absolutely love them. The second pair is quite similar but has a purple tint to it which I think is a nice addition of colour and can really emphasis an outfit. All these glasses were from H&M and are either £5.99 or £6.99 apart from the first pair which were from Primark and are £3. I don’t like really big glasses on my face and I find that the Primark ones are a bit bigger on my face in comparison to the other two circular ones, but that look can really work depending on the outfit. The fourth pair are different as the frames are transparent which I like and has a hint of green within the lens. I think it would look really nice with white outfits. And the last pair is my aviator style sun glasses which are like my everyday pair. They suit my face shape so well and go with everything in my opinion; more of a casual look. I have the golden ones which go with my skin tone really well; I used to have other dark aviators too; I think a solid black pair would look really nice. They can really make an outfit, even when I am not making an effort with what I am wearing, I can just put my aviators on and it would boost it up a bit haha. What are your favourite types of shades?

Subtle Lace

Hey Lovelies,

Today's outfit is a simple black sleek playsuit with some lace detailing at the front and back. I like the fact that it’s cut out at the back, it’s subtle and really nice. I got this from H&M... as always. Yeah I know all my outfits are from H&M but it is literally my favourite store and not to mention I do work there and get discount so why not embrace it? It’s funny because when I do look to other places to buy clothes I just end up heading back to H&M; I should be an ambassador or something huh! (Lol). I feel like the playsuit has a draping sort of look it, it’s noticeable at the front. It also does cinch at the waist and has adjustable straps. My sun glasses are also from H&M, and I absolutely love them. I was on a hunt for some circular glasses for a long time, ones that are note too big for my face, are the right colour and actually look good on me. I feel that those type pf glasses look so fashionable and I always see them worn at fashion shows and London Fashion Week, and I just think omg they look so good! So here I am now rocking these shades too, and I also bought some other ones, you will see in a blog post soon to come. My sandals are form Primark and I got them on sale for £3, they are so comfortable! I love the shiny plastic strap look, I wish they had them in white too. You know when you find something so good; you think should I buy two of them? It was one of those situations lol.

Summer Daze

Hey Dolls,

This outfit is very simple as it is just a crochet bralet and high waited shorts; both new purchases. But who else went out in that 34 degree weather last week? It was so hot; it was even a struggle to wear what I had on now haha. I absolutely love this bralet, I got it for £5 from Primark and it fits so well. I got a size small and it is adjustable at the back through the little crochet holes. My high waisted shorts are from H&M, and I like how they are cuffed at the hem. I like jeans and shorts that you can wear without a belt, that fits nicely to your shape without any gaps. It shows that it's made well and it's flattering. And I find that I can get that with H&M jeans. I am not going to lie, I did get a quite a few stares from people, even though I was also wearing a kimono on top to cover up as it was a bit revealing, however that still didn’t make a difference. I feel like this is something you would wear on the beach or to a festival. Maybe it would be a bit more acceptable as everyone else is wearing similar things which fits the environment? But nevertheless it was 34 degrees, and the weather is hardly ever this hot in London, so I just wear what I want to be honest so long as I am comfortable. I think to jazz it up for a festival look you can style this with a flower crown, maybe some tall gladiator sandals would also go nicely and some arm candy. But this look is simpler and would work too; it's just very summery in general. I hope your enjoying the weather!
